A Warm But Stylish Winter Coat - Grey Padded Puffer Jacket
Something I haven't had till now was a really warm winter coat that was still stylish. And when I say warm, I hateful REALLY warm…!
I accept a big, thick khaki parka with a furry hood, but I generally reserve that glaze for dog walks just – information technology's a bit on the scruffy side. And it doesn't have much in the way of insulation circular the cervix (despite its hirsuite hood), and so I decided to cheque out the sales for puffer coats.
What I was looking for is exactly what I have here: A mid-length padded coat (that's not black or khaki) with a furry hood and a stand-up collar inside the hood. Oh, and it had to be belted.
In other words, I wanted something lite, not sombre, that's super warm for the wintertime and negated the need for a scarf, had a touch of faux fur glam and a bit of shape. That wasn't too much to ask… was it?!
I WANTED SOMETHING LIGHT, Non SOMBRE, THAT'S SUPER WARM FOR THE Winter AND NEGATED THE NEED FOR A SCARF, HAD A TOUCH OF FAUX FUR GLAM AND A Flake OF SHAPE. THAT WASN'T TOO MUCH TO Ask… WAS IT?!
And then later a bit of sale shopping I institute this grey padded glaze from Wallis – a deal now it's reduced to only £68… I was more than than happy to pay that! Mine is a size Minor and I ordinarily clothing a x – I did get the Medium to begin with merely that was WAY as well big.

What I dearest so much nigh this coat is the fact that you tin can wear merely a low-cal sweater or sweatshirt underneath and that's it – no scarf is needed because of the furry stand-upward neckband inside the hood, and the belt keeps all your warmth in likewise as giving you some shape.
As we were just walking Riley and it was SUPER muddy I just wore my fantastically comfortable Lotus boots (I think I've worn them Every. Single. 24-hour interval. since getting them) and jeans. The orangish aviators (similar) added a touch of colour and considering you can still see my optics it's quite prissy for chatting to other dog walkers – I don't feel like such a diva and can brand eye contact with them… does that brand sense to anyone else? I tend to exist a squinter even on grey days so always want to wear sunnies, just information technology'due south nice to see other people's eyes when having a chat.
This was the final shoot nosotros did before my functioning a week ago today – thank you Then much for all the well wishes, I've been completely overwhelmed by how much love was sent my way (you lot can read all about how the functioning went here). I'm feeling okay-ish, a bit frail effectually my stomach only I'll get in that location. As soon as I've finished writing this post I'k off to Netflix and Chill for the balance of the day 🙂

Cheers for joining the #iwillwearwhatilike link upwards! This started every bit a campaign on Instagram in Baronial 2022 where women over 30 wore everything on a announcer'southward listing of "inappropriate" items for 30+ women (including leopard print, brusk dresses and oversized sunglasses. Yes, really). It was so pop that I decided to carry it on weekly where women of all ages link upwardly their fabulous fashion, never mind what anyone tells them non to wear!
