Thanks! | | Joined: Apr 2012 Posts: 68 Full Fellow member | Full Member Joined: Apr 2012 Posts: 68 | If you download Smartscore Ten Pro, you tin scan the sheet music or use a digital copy (digital copies always convert meliorate) and the software will read the sheet music and once it has finished, you lot can salvage the file equally a midi, which can be used by Synthesia. However, some canvass music only doesnt go well with the program and will accept a foreign timing, only most do become well, Hope this helps, Carl http://www.youtube.com/user/carlosj116/videos ----------------------------------------------------- Chief Pieces I'thou Learning: Alkan : Le Chemin De Fer Alkan : Scherzo Diabolico Mussorgsky-Chernov : Night on a Baldheaded Mountain Liszt : Transcendental Etude 4 "Mazeppa" | | Joined: Nov 2010 Posts: xiv Inferior Member | Inferior Member Joined: Nov 2010 Posts: fourteen | Synthesia will assist in this regard, just plow canvas music on, read the notes and lookout man the keys at the same fourth dimension ! Hey I'grand 59 years old and I've spent only a little fourth dimension over the passed yr slowly learning to read, it is worth it.... (Secondary to learning to play annihilation I hear of course so I'm not at the mercy of someones scoring....) Simply takes fourth dimension and a "fair" ear. (I'm deafened in one.) Ps. Love SmartScoreX as well, they accept a 50.00 midi version out now it has done a pretty good chore for me. | | Joined: May 2012 Posts: 1,394 1000 Mail Order Member | thousand Post Club Member Joined: May 2012 Posts: 1,394 | I tin can't read sheets and I don't take fourth dimension to learn I'd argue if time is a concern, you don't accept time not to learn to read music. If you lot change your mind regarding the matter, see my thread of free resources on learning such subjects here: Music Theory 101 edit: every bit far as my ethos is concerned (bold you lot care), I also learned to play the pianoforte using Synthesia - 4-6 full works, actually (and regrettably). Unless you wish to just ever play this one slice, you lot may exist interested in knowing that in the time information technology takes to learn one piece with Synthesia, you could learn to read music, go role of the way through the first piece, and already be on your way to breezing through a second. The idea that you do not take the time to learn to read music manifests pride worthy of a poem past John Milton himself. Do you seriously call back that you are better in some way than about all musicians who have gone before you? Unless you have a learning disability that forecloses you from reading music, you have no excuse. | | Joined: May 2012 Posts: 1,394 1000 Post Lodge Member | thousand Post Club Member Joined: May 2012 Posts: 1,394 | You cannot be a existent pianist, composer, or musician unless you can read music.
